1. Plans and usage limits.
MAKAUT Study Hub provides tiered access options to serve different study patterns. Tiers include:
- Free Core Archive: Offers unlimited browsing of syllabus outlines and standard search logs. Free accounts may have file download rate limits and standard community notes access.
- Premium AI Tier: Provides high-speed, priority PDF downloads and accesses our advanced AI query module for study summaries, practice question generations, and technical translations.
Each subscription tier is subject to specific usage limits, including concurrent document searches, daily download volumes, and AI query credit limits.
2. Billing cycles and payments.
By purchasing a premium subscription, you agree to our billing terms:
- Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are available on monthly or semester-based terms. Payment is charged in advance at the start of your billing cycle.
- Future Automatic Renewals: To prepare for upcoming automatic billing integrations, subscriptions will renew automatically at the end of each term using your saved payment method, unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to renewal.
- Taxation: Subscription rates are inclusive of applicable goods and services tax (GST) where required by Indian tax guidelines.
3. Upgrades and downgrades.
You may modify your subscription package through your account billing panel:
- Subscription Upgrades: Upgrades take effect immediately. Charges are prorated, applying any remaining value from your current plan to credit the price of the new tier.
- Subscription Downgrades: Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. No partial refunds are issued for the remaining period of the current cycle.
4. Service changes.
To maintain platform performance and adapt to syllabus shifts, we reserve the right to change available features, premium tools, and resource structures. We do not guarantee that specific files or AI models will remain accessible indefinitely.
5. Abuse and fair use.
Premium subscriptions are for individual, personal study use only. Sharing account credentials, using browser plugins to bypass download limits, or linking account APIs to public channels is prohibited. Violations will result in immediate suspension without refund.
